Version history

Each version of the Tax60 Privacy Policy is listed with its effective date, newest first. A version’s text never changes after it takes effect; a change to the wording is a new version. Material changes take effect no sooner than 30 days after notice by email and in the app.

  1. Version 2.0

    Current

    Effective October 1, 2026

    What changed: Your record is now stored in your Tax60 account, encrypted in transit and at rest and protected by access controls, instead of being encrypted on your iPhone with a key only you held. Says who can access it (you, professionals you invite, and authorized staff only for support you ask for, security and legal process), and that staff read your record for support only while you have support access open. Adds the web app, sharing with a professional, the CPA portal and the professionals who use it, our staff console and its logs, support notes, and business contacts, and drops the home, decree and payor the app no longer keeps. Records made under 1.0 come under 2.0 only after you agree in the app.
